Combining both production and retail, we create and sell unfinished, high quality furniture designed and built to last. With our first store in Allston, MA, we embarked on our mission to produce affordable solid wood products in a friendly and environmentally conscious manner. Our furniture is offered unfinished for two simple reasons; versatility and affordability. However, professional finishing is an option we gladly offer through several preferred service partners. Environmentally aware, our company is proud to strictly use lumber sustainably grown and harvested in New England. Kiln-dried and transported by local mills, the lumber we use is good for the local economy as well as being environmentally responsible. As longtime members of the community, our wealth of experience allows us to expertly serve home owners, renters, contractors, designers, and businesses alike. In addition to our many standard items, we specialize in personalizing our furniture to fit your unique needs. We build all of our products out of real wood. We do so to provide lasting quality and durability. Real solid wood has many distinct advantages over the various artificial press boards that you find in the furniture industry. For instance, particle-board is highly susceptible to irreparable water damage. Additionally, typical knock-down dressers purchased from the local super-store chronically develop issues after relatively short periods of wear and tear. Not so with real wood furniture, especially when coupled with our time tested construction methods such as dado grooves, pocket screws and use of solid 3/4" lumber. Utilizing real wood, our products do not off-gas toxic fumes, something that cannot be said about certain other furniture and cabinetry construction materials. Lastly, Wood is beautiful! The natural character and flowing lines translate into tasteful and interesting patterns you can appreciate every day in your home. We are blessed to be surrounded by the natural beauty of trees, and our company chooses to use this wonderful resource.
